Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Grapla iOS application and website at grapla.app ("Service"), operated by Grapla, Dublin, Ireland ("we", "us"). By downloading the app or accessing the site you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Grapla is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu knowledge system for iOS. It provides a structured, navigable database of BJJ positions, techniques, submissions, transitions, and drill paths (Pathfinder). Content is provided for educational and training reference purposes only.

Grapla is available as a single one-time purchase via Apple In-App Purchase. There are no subscriptions, recurring charges, or auto-renewals. You pay once and own the app permanently.

All billing and payment processing are handled exclusively by Apple Inc. through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment card details. Apple's App Store Terms of Service and refund policy apply to all purchases. To request a refund, use Settings → Apple ID on your iOS device or visit Apple's standard refund process.

You agree not to:

• —Copy, reproduce, or redistribute any content from the Service without written permission.
• —Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
• —Scrape, crawl, or programmatically access the Service in a way that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
• —Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• —Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or infrastructure.

All content in the Service — including the knowledge graph, position hierarchy, technique descriptions, transition mappings, Pathfinder algorithms, and all associated text, data, and design — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for your own training purposes. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content is complete, accurate, or suitable for your training goals.

BJJ involves physical contact and carries inherent risk of injury. Nothing in the Service constitutes professional coaching advice. Always train under qualified supervision and within your physical limits.

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.

You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app. As Grapla is a one-time purchase, there is no subscription to cancel. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under EU law.
