What it is

Tracheal choke from front headlock using elbow crook across the airway.

What you do

TAP URGENCY: URGENT — the cervical-flexion component loads the spine before unconsciousness arrives, so absorbing pressure invites neck injury

Release the bicep grip the moment the tap registers; latency on this choke is dangerous because the crank stacks on top of airway compression

Apply pressure progressively in drilling rather than slamming the loop closed

Communicate with the partner before any squeezing — the angle can hide the depth of compression

Stop immediately if the partner's jaw or larynx becomes the contact point instead of the airway crook
