Electric Chair
lockdown half-guard platform - hip lock threat, sweep, back take
What it is
Half-guard-bottom control platform built on the lockdown — a leg triangle that traps the opponent's near leg and stretches it downward and outward. The bottom player feeds a deep overhook on the opponent's far arm and bridges the hips while rotating the torso into them, threatening the electric chair hip lock and adductor spread. When the opponent rolls away from the pressure, the position chains to back control; when they flatten, the dogfight opens to top half guard.
